The Library at the University of York has joined the CEU Press Opening the Future collective funding programme. The University has over 20,000 students from 150+ countries and conducts teaching and research on Archaeology, Biology, Mathematics, Robotics, History, Politics, Languages, Business, and much more.

Membership of Opening the Future gives staff and students unlimited, perpetual access to 100 eBooks on the history, politics, economics, and social and cultural changes of Central and Eastern Europe via two backlist package subscriptions: the History Collection and the Political Science Collection. In return, CEU Press will use the library’s membership fees to fund new open access books, which are all freely available globally.

If you would like to see how your library might similarly enhance your digital collection of eBooks by becoming a member, you can read more about the programme and benefits on the Opening the Future website.
